We use this reliable and state of the art test for diagnostic purposes, in conjunction with parents, schools, and medical professionals of all types (Psychiatrists, MDs, PCPs, Physician Assistants, Registered Nurse Practitioners) to determine if a client has ADD/ADHD.  This test is especially helpful for children and college students who would benefit from being given more time to take tests and finish assignments.

 

The initial testing and interview appointment is one hour in length, and a report is sent to the prescribing doctor and or client for their school and physician.

 

TOVA testing is beneficial in working with any physician if a patient is considering medication as a treatment adjunct.  With the new laws in Florida and in most states, there must be proof the diagnosis exists to prescribe a stimulant medication.  An appropriate treatment plan will be determined by us, after testing, interview process and self-scoring (or parent scoring) questionnaires to determine a diagnosis of ADD/ADHD.
